Species: Onothrax

Color: Deep blood-red, #4b0101 color with some tweaking to make him more metallic.

Age: One of the oldest dragons around the top piece of his chest had to be sawed off for safety because his dewlap was sagging so much.

Temperament: A grumpy old bastard who sleeps most of the day and complains the moment you try to wake him. Only stirs when it’s time to bully his rider into training harder. Big on discipline and rules; at least for his rider. He’ll ignore any rule that doesn’t suit him (“Do as I say, not as I do”).

Odd Quirk: The commonfolk jokingly call him the “liberator of picas.”

Lore: He’ll kidnap any mistreated pica he sees or make his rider buy every “pretty” or “ugly” one on the market to add to his harem. Has a terrible reputation for snatching other riders’ picas and refusing to return them, usually they have to be ransomed back. Any riders who ride picas are sternly warned away from a certain section of the capital because he WILL kidnap that pica regardless of the other dragons protest. They even have little mini alarms when he drags himself and his rider out on flights.

 

In his younger years, he was a nasty piece of work; aggressive, headstrong, and impossible to handle. He burned through two riders before being forced into retirement. (He’s probably a lot like Glaedr these days.)

 

During his so-called “retirement,” he got bored and dragged himself out of his den, galloping off to harass random cities in search of a new rider/some entertainment. That’s when he kidnapped his new Elvish rider(debating on making her a sea elf but undecided for now since I don't know much about them) , kicking up a major scandal among the higher elves since she wasn’t from the proper family or rank.

 

In protest, he perched himself on the tallest building in the city and refused to let her off his back until an exception was granted. Even now, the pair still stir up whispers and raised brows everywhere they go.
